About AlpineTint
Our Story
AlpineTint was founded in Yackandandah, Victoria, beginning as a regional window film business focused on careful workmanship, practical advice and quality outcomes for homes and businesses. From these beginnings in North East Victoria, the company has steadily grown to support projects across Regional Victoria, Melbourne, Canberra and southern New South Wales, while remaining closely connected to the community where it started.
Our Yackandandah headquarters continues to operate as the administrative, film handling and logistics hub for the business. From this base we coordinate projects across multiple regions while maintaining a strong local presence.
Today, we specialise in architectural window films, architectural finishes and, wall and window graphics, working across residential, commercial and government environments where performance, compatibility and long-term durability are essential.

How We Work
Most issues with window film and architectural finishes don't come from the product — they come from incorrect specification or poor installation. Our approach is built to eliminate that risk:
Problem-First Thinking
We assess the actual issue - heat load, glare, privacy, compliance, security or surface protection - rather than defaulting to a generic product.
Long-Term Performance Focus
Our work is designed to perform over time — not just look right on day one.
Correct Specification
We match film type, performance data, surface type and glazing compatibility to ensure the solution is technically sound and fit for purpose.
System-Based Installation
We install to manufacturer guidelines, including correct preparation, application methods and attachment systems where required.
Why AlpineTint?
Choosing the right installer is just as important as selecting the right product. We provide clients with the confidence that comes from specialist knowledge, proven systems and a professional approach from start to finish.
Specialists in Architectural Films
We focus on buildings, not automotive tinting. That specialist focus means we understand the performance, glazing compatibility and aesthetic considerations involved in residential, commercial and government applications.
Capability Across Project Types
We work across residential homes, commercial buildings and government facilities, as well as coordinating multi-site and national projects. That experience allows us to manage everything from single-site installations through to large-scale rollouts where consistency, coordination and correct specification are critical.
Manufacturer-Aligned Systems
We work with globally recognised products and systems from manufacturers including 3M™ and Solar Gard®, allowing us to specify solutions that are fit for purpose and supported by genuine manufacturer backing.
Consistency and Accountability
We approach every project with a clear and structured process, from initial assessment through to completion. That consistency ensures accurate quoting, clear communication and delivery that aligns with what was specified — without shortcuts or last-minute compromises.
Proven Installation Methods
- From standard applications through to security film with impact protection attachment (IPA), our work is carried out to recognised industry and manufacturer standards.
